Our training program takes place in beautiful Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 25-minutes from Las Americas International Airport (SDQ).
Direct flights from New York (4 hours) and Miami (2.5 hours) make travel quick and affordable. Instead of concrete and highways, you’ll be surrounded by Caribbean culture, ocean breezes, and a slower pace that invites true learning and self-care.

- Colon Hydrotherapy History/Theory/Practice – 30 hours
- Anatomy & Physiology – 60 hours
- Microbiology – 25 hours
- Intestinal Health – Function vs. Dysfunction – 14 hours
- Nutrition – 16 hours
Drug Interactions – 10 hours - Business Ethics/Office Procedures – 40 hours
- Complementary Modalities – 5 hours
(Note, the Instructor must notify the office when the student is ready to start the Nutrition and Business Ethics courses)
I-ACT Professional Colon Hydrotherapy Training Course – In-Person Training in Santo Doming, Dominican Republic
- Office Procedures – 5 hours
- Health & Sanitation- 5 hours
- Anatomy & Physiology of the Alimentary Tract 5 hours
- Hands On Practice – 50 hours (student must receive 3 colonics and have hands on practice with 25 colonics to complete training)
Pre-Requisites Before Starting Training
- Any individual not using FDA registered devices may not be an I-ACT member and no I-ACT instructor/school may train any individual that does not use FDA registered devices.
- Each student MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent requirement showing they have achieved high school standards. This may be documented by diploma, GED or equivalency exam such as the Wunderlich Ability to Benefit Test. This must be completed prior to entering into training.
- I-ACT recommends that each new student receive 1-3 colonics prior to entering training. This recommendation can be waived if the student has contraindications to receiving colonics.
- Each student MUST show proof that they have taken a CPR Class and have a current CPR card.This must be completed prior to entering training.
The instructor/school must document completion of this requirement on the official I-ACT transcript.
Each student MUST be an I-ACT member prior to taking any I-ACT training. The Instructor / School must collect current I-ACT administration fee of $900 (this fee is not part of the $3,000 training in the Dominican Repubic) and covers:
- I-ACT Membership Application
- NBCHT Membership Application including test fee
- Cengage registration fees
This I-ACT administration fee MUST be received by the I-ACT Office prior to the start of any training either through Cengage, or training in-person at the training facility.
This fee is non-refundable.
